Holiday Cheer

Throughout the holiday season

Park Hyatt Aviara Resort has prepared an exciting new addition to its memorable holiday décor. Crafted by the resort’s Executive Pastry Chef Christophe Rull — just named the winner of Food Network’s Halloween Wars — a handcrafted nine-foot chocolate Christmas tree surrounded by a display of Santa’s workshop will be on display in the resort’s lobby. Constructed entirely of modeling chocolate, gingerbread, and sugar, this life-size holiday display gives a whimsical interpretation of how Santa’s elves make and load gifts onto Santa’s sleigh. The resort will also offer an array of holiday events and festivities, including Deck The Halls, featuring elegant Christmas trees and wreaths up for bid to benefit The Semper Fi Fund; Teddy Bear Tea, where kids bring a teddy bear to donate to Rady Children’s Hospital and San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House; Roasted Chestnuts & Festive Beverages on the front drive December 20-24 from 5-8pm; and Gingerbread Classes on select dates throughout the month. aviara.park.hyatt.com
