A New PATH (Parents for
Addiction Treatment &
Healing) works to reduce
the stigma associated with
addiction through education
and compassionate
support, and advocates for
therapeutic drug policies.
A New PATH provides
overdose prevention trainings
and distributes Narcan (a safe
drug that reverses an opiod
overdose). The organization
has trained more than 9,000
people across the county
and has 2,040 lives reported
saved through its program.

A Step Beyond (ASB) is an
aerschool program in
North San Diego County
that prepares underserved
youth for college and
career success. ASB
provides 200+ students with
dance education, tutoring,
college/workforce readiness
support, and counseling
through a holistic, 10-year
program. ASB relies on
philanthropic support to
fund its services, especially
now, as the pandemic
has increased its students'
needs.
