The Salvation Army
Now in its 56th year, Women of Dedication is one of San Diego's longest-
running charity events. Each spring, The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary
hosts a festive luncheon where 12 of the community's most dedicated
volunteers are honored and thanked for their gis of time, talent, and spirit.
As the Auxiliary's largest fundraiser, all proceeds from the luncheon stay in
San Diego and benefit social service programs of The Salvation Army.
Co-chairs are Danitza Villanueva, Roxi Link, and Clarice Perkins, and the
honorees for 2022 are Christy Billings, Barbara Crew, Andrea da Rosa,
Lena Evans, Holly Heaton, Connie Ojeda Hernandez, JoAnn Kilty,
Kimberley Layton, Irene Mylonas, Olivia Puente-Reynolds, Carol Sciotto,
and Inez J. Thomas.
