Taste of Cardiff DECEMBER 5 | CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA Cardiff 101 Main Street's 11th Annual Taste of Cardiff takes place from 3-6pm. Join the community in celebrating local culinary flavors and crafted libations that make Cardiff-by-the-Sea so unique. Local restaurants will whip up divine tastes for your enjoyment, and your vote. During the event, you'll help name the winner of the coveted Taste of Cardiff Golden Fork Award. Local Sip Stops will offer samples of beer, wine, hard kombucha, and spirits. Each Sip Stop will be hosted by a local business, which means you'll also have a chance to check out Cardiff shops just in time for the holiday season. There will be a free bike valet courtesy of Electra Bicycle Company located in front of Harbaugh Parkway on Chesterfield Drive and San Elijo Avenue. cardiff101.com/events Poinsettia Ball DECEMBER 11 | MAGDALENA ECKE FAMILY YMCA The Paul Ecke, Jr. Poinsettia Ball will celebrate 30 years of supporting children and families in North County at the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA. In the beautifully transformed Gary E. Biszantz Family Gymnasium, guests will ring in the holiday season and enjoy a gourmet dinner catered by Behind the Scenes and dancing to the tunes of The Mighty Untouchables. Surrounded by an abundance of beautifully festive poinsettias, the evening will include bidding on silent auction items including vacation packages, holiday gifts, jewelry, and unique items and experiences. All proceeds of the event benefit the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA's Scholarship Program and community partnerships. Attend in-person or virtually and enjoy tastings, live entertainment, and exciting live and silent auctions. General admission tickets are $50; VIP tickets are $125 each and include an upgraded wine experience with special pairing selections, unlimited glasses of wine, and a complimentary wine bag.
