Stole Christmas! has settled in at
The Old Globe for another year
and the 24th annual production
features favorite songs "Santa for
a Day," "You're a Mean One, Mr.
Grinch," and "Welcome, Christmas
(Fah Who Doraze)," the carol from
the How the Grinch Stole Christmas
animated version. During the 2021
holidays, the stage of The Old Globe
is once more transformed into snow
covered Who-ville, down to the last
can of Who-hash. theoldglobe.org

ICA San Diego
The Institute of Contemporary Art,
San Diego presents its second Artist-
in-Residence exhibition, featuring
interdisciplinary artist Marina Zurkow
marking her first solo exhibition in
San Diego. Zurkow is a conceptual
social practice artist whose work
dives into humanity's metaphysical
relationship with its surroundings. In
the exhibition, Zurkow is changing
the conversation around ecology
and the ocean. Instead of
approaching us as land mammals
discussing an aquatic entity, she
is asking us for transference, a
metamorphosis through which we
can communicate more openly
and honestly with our oceans.
While diving into our complicated
relationship to the oceans we
revere, love, and threaten, her
exhibition explores humans'
symbiotic connections to them
as living and breathing entities.

The Old Globe
The classic A Christmas Carol is
theatrically reimagined in this Old
Globe production, which has been
mounted in the Sheryl and Harvey
White Theater in the round. While
the traditional story elements are
intact, a comic local twist has been
added. Enjoy this very funny Dickens
mash-up of music and merriment, all
taking place in "wintery" San Diego.
