Shelter To Soldier Soiree Local nonprofit Shelter to Soldier hosted its annual ank You Soiree to celebrate its sponsors and share the impact made in the lives of the rescue dogs and veterans served by its program. Hosted and sponsored in part by e Lakehouse San Marcos, the event provided an opportunity for supporters to connect with other dedicated changemakers, meet the organization's service dog trainees, cuddle with Shelter to Soldier canine ambassadors (therapy dogs), and learn more about the nonprofit's training program and veteran outreach programs. Cool Women 2022 Each year, Girl Scouts San Diego honors exemplary women whose personal and professional lives make them consummate role models for girls. During this mentoring session, luncheon, and ceremony, female leaders shared the spotlight with the Emerging Leader Girl Scouts, who are recognized for their outstanding achievements by their mentors and community leaders. e 2022 Cool Women honorees were Naila Chowdhury, CEO, Pillars 4 Dignity; Inez González Perezchica, Executive Director, MANA de San Diego; Susan B.
