Wildcoast
Treasure Fish Feast
Herb & Sea celebrated its new partnership
with Wildcoast with a multi-course dinner.
Wildcoast is an international nonprofit that
conserves coastal and marine ecosystems and
addresses climate change through natural
solutions. e evening included cocktails from
Solento Tequila along with tray-passed bites,
a five-course dinner menu exclusively utilizing
local treasure fish, lesser-known and non-
targeted species caught in San Diego's fisheries
often called "by-catch," and wine from Niner
Winery. Wildcoast CEO Serge Dedina, along
with local scientists and fishermen, shared
information about the organization's mission
and how to protect our fisheries. Herb & Sea
offers an ongoing rotating Wildcoast Fresh
Catch menu item that contributes $5 from
each dish sold to the nonprofit.
