ICA Greener Gala
e Institute of Contemporary Art, San Diego's
ICA Greener Gala 2022 featured themes of
sustainability to tie in with the current ecology-
focused season "In this Broad Earth of Ours."
Guests celebrated within the illuminated
six-acre property (powered by its own solar
panel system), where they enjoyed a cocktail
reception with specialty drinks and music by
Rumba Ketumba followed by a plant-based
four-course dinner using produce from local
farmers prepared by Chef Flor Franco, Culinary
Director of Berry Good Food Foundation.
e evening also included an auction featuring
incredible destinations and dancing under the
stars. Proceeds directly supported ICA's residency
program, regional artists, arts education programs,
arts outreach to Title I schools, and Everyday
Equity Admission program.
