Fiesta at the Rancho
Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc. presented a fundraiser
for the California History & Art Education program
at Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. Guests gathered
to enjoy the warm spirit of hospitality that Leo
Carrillo made famous. e evening included live
entertainment, signature cocktails, and a delicious
meal set outdoors amidst the tranquil beauty of Leo
Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. As a result of the event,
more than 1,200 Carlsbad fourth grade students
will have the opportunity to visit Carrillo Ranch to
share in Carrillo's vision of early California life and
participate in an interactive art lesson.

JIT Empower Parties
Just in Time for Foster Youth, an
organization dedicated to providing
transition age foster youth with the
resources and relationships needed to
succeed, ended its two-month season of
Empower Parties on June 30. Nearly 450
community leaders and supporters came
together with 125 young adults at eight
in-person dinners and 16 virtual parties to
celebrate successes and to build meaningful
connections. Presenting sponsors included
US Bank, Capital Growth Inc., Gretchen
and Bill Morgan, RWM Home Loans,
e John M. Sachs Family, Louarn and
Alan Sorkin, and Tina and David omas.
