A Message to Our Community A s 2022 comes to a close and the holidays rev into high gear, our December issue of Ranch & Coast Magazine highlights seasonal celebrations and gift giving inspiration, and it also serves as a reflection of the very heartbeat of our publication: Shining a light on those making a lasting difference in our community. We've long said that we have the great privilege — and responsibility — of showcasing the lifechanging work of San Diego's countless charities with the hope of connecting our readers with the causes that speak to their giving hearts. We often do so by promoting galas in our Attend section and featuring photographic recaps on our Seen pages, but after the stage lights dim and the red carpets roll up, we know that these tireless nonprofits immediately turn their attention back to their crucial frontline work to ensure that needs are met for those they serve. To that end, we've filled even more pages this month with moving stories of those changing lives so that we might help forge new connections and inspire additional ways to give back.
