@ranchandcoast RANCH & COAST MAGAZINE NOVEMBER 2023 89 Bark to the Future NBC 7 Meteorologist Sheena Parveen guided animal lovers through a "totally tubular" celebration in support of Rancho Coastal Humane Society at the nonprofit's Celebration of Second Chances gala, this year titled "Bark to the Future." At the event's entrance, guests passed a DeLorean while a 1980s-style video arcade and outdoor lawn games awaited beyond. Attendees also had an opportunity to place personal items in a time capsule that will be opened at a future Celebration of Second Chances, and the event featured dogs available for adoption early in the evening, with trained dogs from Rancho Coastal Humane Society's Pet Assisted erapy program joining the festivities later.
