Las Patronas Past President Julie Bubnack and Past Jewel Ball Chair Mio Hood announced that $756,694 was raised at the 77th Annual Jewel Ball, "Daisies & Disco," which was held at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club on August 5. At the golf tournament, teams of four competed for the coveted tournament trophy. e day's festivities culminated in an unforgettable dinner celebration with dancing, auctions, an open bar, and stories of impact. For more than 50 years, SBCS has brought together business and community leaders to raise the funds that enhance programs that heal, give hope, and change the academic and life trajectory of more than 50,000 San Diego children and their families each year.
