Spotlight Gala North Coast Repertory eatre presented the Spotlight Gala, now in its 42nd year. With Robin Fantin as gala chair and Hannah Step as honorary chair, the event, which is the major fundraiser for Solana Beach's premier performing arts venue, featured special entertainment, fine food and wine, and live and silent auctions. Rafael and Marina Pastor were recognized as San Diego's Champions for the Arts. is award is presented to individuals who have given an extraordinary measure of their time, talents, and dedication to benefit visual and performing arts in the San Diego region. Renowned executive chef Jeffrey Strauss headlined the evening, guiding guests through a gourmet journey with a delicious four-course dinner expertly paired with a handpicked selection of fine wines. Proceeds benefited Walden Family Services' mission to provide vital support and resources to children in foster care, empowering them to thrive and achieve their full potential well into adulthood.
