A few of Care House's primary partners include San Diego's Title I and JCCS schools. The Care House programs address food and clothing insecurities, collaborate mental health resources, provide tutoring and incentives to boost school literacy and attendance, facilitate holiday toy drives and meal sponsorships, and so much more! The students Care House works with are still experiencing the life-altering effects of the pandemic upon an already vulnerable population. This has dramatically reshaped their financial and academic stability, threatening their future success. Join Care House in coming alongside these little ones as they continue to press on toward their dreams! • As of 2023, sources cite the City and County of San Diego as having the 4th largest homeless population in the nation • Other sources indicate that during the 2022-2023 school year, 18,500 San Diego County students were impacted by homelessness • This means there is a local, tangible need that YOU can help Care House meet! • Donor contributions provide dynamically empowering educational opportunities for underserved students in need. Care House is boosting attendance, improving literacy, retaining incentive and assistance programs, and fostering hope across San Diego! • Serving over 500 children & their families this holiday season!
