Established to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun, players of all ages and abilities participate, regardless of their challenges. Now entering its 18th year, MLSD serves over 350 players at two locations on rubberized fields that accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and the sight impaired. Volunteer coaches and buddies play a crucial role in supporting the players, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Through its programs, MLSD not only enhances the physical and social skills of participants but also encourages friendships and creates lasting memories for families.
