Lions Tigers & Bears
Situated on 142 acres outside of Alpine, California, on the edge of the Cleveland
National Forest, Lions Tigers & Bears is a fully accredited sanctuary for rescued big cats,
bears, and other exotic animals. For over 20 years, the sanctuary has provided rescue
and lifelong safe haven to captive and exploited wildlife, while raising awareness and
educating the San Diego community. Animals like Louie the white lion, who suffered
at the hands of the entertainment industry and wildlife trafficking trade, now lounge
in the sun and roam in a natural habitat filled with majestic oak trees, meadows,
rolling hills, and pools of water.
