The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, led by President Ferol Henkels, will celebrate
its 59th Annual Women of Dedication luncheon on March 28, 2025, at the Marriott
Marquis San Diego Marina. The theme is: Messengers of Hope. Event Chair Vivian
Tuck and event Co-Chairs Inez J. Thomas and Nayda Locke are dedicated to
ensuring the success of the event. The Peggy Matthews Legacy Award recipient
is Judith Brucker and Honorary Chairs are Betty Brayshay, Joan Henkelmann, Fern
Murphy and Pattie Wellborn, all known for their commitment to The Salvation Army
and many other organizations. The Women's Auxiliary is proud to honor these great
community leaders. The honorees represent the San Diego community, each one of
them with decades of public service and volunteering with many different nonprofits.
