COURTESY PHOTO MEOW Excalibur is a charming but shy 2-year-old Onyx kitty on a quest to find his new home. He is a sweet boy who will thrive in a patient and loving environment. Excalibur is used to living with other cats and may benefit from another social cat to guide him. Excalibur is available for adoption at SDHS' Oceanside Campus. Adoption fee: $75 MEOW These 6-month-old bonded brothers, Hop and Scotch, have come a long way from their shy roots. When Hop and Scotch first arrived at HWAC, they kept to the back wall of their cat condos and hesitated to interact with staff. However, after a month of growing up with a foster volunteer, they came back with new personalities. Adoption fee: $181 each MEOW Saxony is a 3-year-old, 8-pound Domestic Short Hair cat with a Blue and White coat. She was at a crowded local shelter with her two kittens. The little family went into foster care with a trained volunteer. Now her kittens have been adopted and Saxony needs a home. Saxony loves when people pet her, but she doesn't care to be held. Adoption fee: $100 WOOF Edinburgh is a goofy 5-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog full of youthful energy that will likely simmer a little bit as he gets older. He loves playing in the yard with toys, and while he loves to have fellow dog friends, he can be a little assertive, so a meet is needed to ensure it's a good fit. Adoption fee: $455 WOOF Soju is a 4½ -year-old, 53-pound Siberian Husky mix. She was a stray, roaming with another Husky, and was transferred to RCHS through FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters). She's easygoing and might do okay living in an apartment.
