Computers 2 Kids
Reuse is the New Recycle
In the U.S., 41% of households are low-
income, and 60% lack computer access,
putting their education and future at risk.
Computers to Kids (C2K) addresses this
issue while protecting the environment by
keeping computers out of landfills and
recycling them.
Thanks to C2K supporters, annual
computer distribution has grown from
329 in 2004 to 45,000. Donations fund
refurbishments, providing low-cost
computers to children while closing the
digital divide and protecting the planet.
• $350 transforms a used computer into
a life-changing tool
• A computer increases a family's
economic health by 25% in the first year
• C2K reduces air emissions by 2.5M tons
