Pianist Javier Perianes — praised by Hamburger Abendblatt for his "keen sense of the atmospheres and pictorial characters of the music" — will perform as soloist in Manuel de Falla's "Nights in the Gardens of Spain." Vocalist Marina Heredia, one of the world's foremost interpreters of Falla's "El amor brujo," will bring her powerful, vivid storytelling to the composer's earthy reflections on the power of love.
