The festival focuses on fine art for sale by local artists, as well as those who travel from all over the U.S. and Mexico to show and sell their work. ArtWalk also helps support ArtReach San Diego, a nonprofit aimed at increasing equity in visual arts education in K-8 schools throughout San Diego County. Hosted at Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, the event from 4 to 9pm benefits the Rob Machado Foundation through a local surf artists' silent auction. In partnership with Echo Sunday Events and Seaborn Cocktails, Cape Rey has invited some amazing beverage vendors to provide complimentary samples. Headliner band El Funeral, featuring Scott Russo from Unwritten Law, will take the stage and Chandler's will be grilling delicious coastal cuisine with a full bar available.
