Located in El Cajon, St. Madeleine Sophie's Center provides a wide range of educational and vocational programs for more than 400 adults. e center is committed to enhancing the quality of life for differently abled adults by offering opportunities for personal growth and skill development. Every day, individuals participate in art, aquatics, gardening, culinary or computer training, employment support, or speech therapy. PHOTOGRAPHY BY CAROL SONSTEIN Seen 19th Annual CAPS Charity Golf Tournament CAPS Pregnancy+ Medical Clinics hosted its 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Maderas Golf Club, bringing supporters together for a meaningful day on the links. e event began with check-in and an opening ceremony, followed by a noon tee time for the 18-hole scramble. After tournament play, guests enjoyed a buffet dinner, raffle, and awards celebration. e tournament helped raise vital support for CAPS' mission of serving more than 1,500 women and couples annually across its five licensed medical clinics. Executive Director Julie Dowler expressed gratitude for the sponsors and participants who helped strengthen CAPS' work with San Diego families.
