David Jay, Dianne Bashor, and Jorie Fischer Nicole Velazquez, Susan Barrera, and Melanie Albers Las Patronas Beneficiary Luncheon Las Patronas hosted its Annual Beneficiary Luncheon at e Marine Room, bringing together community leaders and nonprofit partners to celebrate the extraordinary impact of collective generosity. e luncheon marked the culmination of the 79th Annual Jewel Ball, "Back en Pointe," which raised $900,589 in support of San Diego-based nonprofits. During the event, donation checks were formally presented to the major beneficiaries, each receiving more than $20,000 in critical funding. Supported projects ranged from transportation for youth and students, to therapy and equine-assisted services, STEM outreach, emergency shelter resources, and conservation initiatives.
