@ranchandcoast RANCH & COAST MAGAZINE MARCH 2026 57 Father Joe's Villages Father Joe's Villages' 41st Annual Children's Champions Gala, chaired by Greg and Andrea McMullen, brings the San Diego community together in support of children and families experiencing homelessness. On May 2, 2026, the celebration returns to the iconic US Grant Hotel, where old- world elegance sets the stage for an unforgettable evening. This year's theme, "Peace by Piece," reflects the belief that lasting change happens when each person contributes what they can — like pieces of a puzzle coming together. The night begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a multicourse dinner, a powerful client story, and an energetic live auction in the historic ballroom. The program will honor Bob and Ellen Svatos and the Qualcomm Foundation before concluding with live music and dancing. 3350 E Street | San Diego, CA 92102 619.446.2108 | gala@neighbor.org my.neighbor.org/gala Building Bright Futures Together • Father Joe's Villages is San Diego's largest, oldest, and most comprehensive homeless services provider, offering whole-family support, including Therapeutic Childcare for children and families. • The Therapeutic Childcare program provides state- licensed, trauma-informed care that supports children's emotional, social, and developmental growth. • Services include behavioral health, literacy support, after-school homework help, parenting classes, one-on- one mentorship and more. • By providing safe, reliable childcare, parents are able to pursue housing and employment while children build skills for long-term success.
