Ann Sim, Sabrina Ward, Hannah Bennett, and Brittany Curtright Clark and Lenette Howard Gabrielle Holley and Denise Young Carissa Casares, Allison Glader, Jill Howerton, and Dana Williams Collins Ejiogu, Patty O'Connor, and Bob Kamensky Travis and Mia Swikard Seen Pairings with a Purpose Dinner Party Feeding San Diego partnered once again with East Village restaurant Callie to host the Pairings with a Purpose Dinner Party, welcoming 145 guests and raising a record- breaking $500,000 to support the nonprofit's School Pantry Program — equivalent to more than one million meals. e evening featured a three-course dinner by Chef Travis Swikard, wine pairings selected by sommelier Skye Munroe, specialty cocktails, and live and silent auctions. A highlight of the night was the announcement that, through Callie's ongoing support, a new school pantry will open at Burbank Elementary in Logan Heights, serving 100 households monthly where 95% of students qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Feeding San Diego's School Pantry Program now serves 75 campuses countywide, helping address food insecurity among local families.
