Tour Reception
e La Jolla Historical Society's Secret Garden Tour of La Jolla,
titled "Art from the Gardens," presented an artist reception and
judging party to determine next year's cover winner. At the Riford
Library Gallery, the works of ten artists — Christine Chenoweth,
Michelle Gonzalez, Leah Higgins, Sharon Hinckley, Edward
Juarez, Ralph Kingery, Dot Renshaw, Lynne Schulnik, Kathryn
Stephens, and Laura Wheeler — were on display from mid-May
through June 30. e jurors selected Kathryn Stephen's mixed
media tree that represented the front yard of one of this year's
beautiful featured gardens. As a result, Stephens' tree will
represent the 2023 Secret Garden Tour.

School, Ecolife Conservation, Encinitas Educational
Foundation, e Alabaster Jar Project, Mesa Verde Middle

Gardening and Landscape Club, and San Pasqual Academy.
