T he newly renovated clubhouse at e Bridges at Rancho Santa Fe is drawing praise from members of this exclusive residential community. Designed by Hatch Design Group and Ohana Architects, the new multimillion-dollar facility was unveiled last month at a grand reopening, reception, and tour attended by the club's members and leadership, residents, and community leaders. "Every design decision was guided by our commitment to create an exceptional member experience while preserving the timeless character that has made e Bridges one of Southern California's most sought-after private communities," said Jim Miller, the club's chief operating officer and general manager. Hatch Design Group and Ohana Architects honored the club's Mediterranean architecture but added modern design elements. "From the material palette to the spatial flow, every detail was carefully considered to reinforce the club's unique identity, creating spaces that feel both authentic and welcoming while honoring the architectural vision that has always set e Bridges apart," said Mike Hatch, the design group's principal. Ohana Architects brought the outdoors in by removing visual barriers and adding glass walls. "We were able to open up the sweeping views and create a seamless connection between the clubhouse and the surrounding landscape," noted Rocky Arnold, president of Ohana Architects. For example, the living room terrace was expanded to give members a year-round place to dine, socialize, and host private events. e commercial kitchen, helmed by Executive Chef Alex Bloom, was also renovated. Bloom, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, creates seasonal, farm-to-table menus with fresh-picked ingredients from the club's own on-property farm paired with wines selected by Sommelier Brian Green. thebridgesrsf.com PHOTOGRAPHY COURTESY OF AG PHOTOGRAPHY e Art of the Refresh e Bridges blends Mediterranean character with a modern point of view BY ANDREA NAVERSEN ranchandcoast.com 102 SEPTEMBER 2026 RANCH & COAST MAGAZINE
