Mosaic Casa de Amistad presented Mosaic, a fundraising evening at Del Mar Hilton to help further the nonprofit's mission to illuminate pathways and empower students to reach their full potential to achieve lifelong success. Casa de Amistad provides a friendly, safe, inclusive, and enriching community space where children and teens can overcome barriers to academic success. Casa's approach to education is holistic, while providing comprehensive instruction, coaching, and guidance. Guests enjoyed light bites, cocktails, and ocean views at Del Mar Plaza as the organization celebrated 45 years of life-changing advocacy through its Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. e program featured acclaimed civil rights lawyer and e New York Times bestselling author Andrew Bridge, an advocate who has dedicated his life to fighting for vulnerable children. He discussed his latest book, e Child Catcher: A Fight for Justice and Truth, a grand prize winner of the 2024 Reader Views Literary Awards.
