Tees fore Tails JUNE 23 | OMNI LA COSTA RESORT & SPA Rancho Coastal Humane Society is giving animal lovers something "paws-itive" they can do to get some fresh air, enjoy a day in the sunshine, and help people and pets. The second annual Tees fore Tails Golf Tournament features opportunity and contest prizes, lunch, a cocktail reception, awards ceremony, and swag bag for all participants. Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned companion animals, promoting adoption into loving homes, and offering education programs and support services that inspire and strengthen the human-animal bond. RCHS is recognized nationally as a top rated 4-star charity by Charity Navigator, achieving a perfect 100-point overall score — the only animal shelter in Southern California to receive this distinction. 760.753.6413, sdpets.org MEOW Valkyrie is a sensitive 3-year-old Domestic Short Hair looking for a home that can help her feel comfortable. Valkyrie's ideal family would be a quiet one, without young children, where everyone can be patient with her. When Valkyrie feels comfortable, she enjoys being with her people. Adoption fee: $32.50 MEOW Betty is a 1-year-old, 10-pound Tabby who loves to play. She was found as a stray limping on the streets of Los Angeles. Adoption fee: $145 MEOW Gus is a 4-year-old, 13-pound, Domestic Short Hair cat. In his first home, Gus played with a dog and another cat, but he was surrendered. Adoption fee: $100 WOOF Love, a 22-month-old, 55-pound German Shepherd blend, was rescued in Texas and gave birth to nine puppies just a few days before she arrived at HWAC. Her puppies have all found homes, and now it's Love's turn to find her happy ending. Adoption fee: $385 WOOF Citi is a 1-year-old, 64-pound Shepherd mix who really likes people and makes friends easily. Citi will probably become more active when she feels comfortable in her new home.
