GenerateHope is a San Diego-based nonprofit that supports survivors of sex trafficking to help them heal and find restoration in long-term housing with trauma- informed therapy, education, and vocational support. NBC 7 news anchor Monica Dean served as emcee for the evening, which also featured a keynote presentation by San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan. Julia Post Gunther, Nicole Gleeson, Erica Conger, and Nathalie Hymel Mary Jane Fredericks, Denise Barrett, Carrie and Bryan Barrett, and Sean Barrett Jennifer Dawson and Lina Scandalis Mary Grace Card, Andrea Shillito, and Gemma Rickolt Annie Rodriguez and Summer Stephan Shenell and Bill Malloy Melissa Slater, Kristin O'Shea, Christian Potter, Bree Bornstein, and Genta Luddy Beneb Garza, Ken Forrest, Michelle St. Clair, Paola Middleton, and Nahieli and Matthew Davis Gift of Hope e inaugural Gift of Hope fundraising evening to benefit Do Cancer took place at the Malloy residence in Rancho Santa Fe. Guests enjoyed a farm to table dinner, hosted bar, live music, and auction to support Do Cancer's mission and celebrate the launch of the nonprofit's cancer healing platform. Do Cancer's programs help support those affected by cancer to achieve optimal health for their mind, body, and spirit by sharing stories of hope from survivors, complementary healing practices, and potentially life-saving tools and resources from all around the world.
