Attend Holiday Golf Tournament DECEMBER 12 | THE SANTALUZ CLUB For 30 years, the Arc San Diego Foundation has presented the Holiday Golf Tournament, raising millions of dollars to benefit children and adults with disabilities receiving services from The Arc of San Diego. This year's 30th Annual Holiday Golf Tournament will feature 18 holes of golf on the 300- acre Santaluz Golf Course, a championship course filled with scenic vistas and panoramic views. Registration begins at 8:30am with a breakfast for golfers before the shotgun start at 10am. All players receive a barbecue lunch and a swag bag with Arc-branded goodies. The awards reception following the tournament includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction. Funds raised will contribute to holiday gifts for The Arc of San Diego clients, funding for wheelchair accessible vans, and support for Our Place, the organization's wellness program that provides adaptive yoga, fitness, nutrition, and wellness classes. Tournament chair is Tim Himstreet, Board Member of the Arc San Diego Foundation. arc-sd.com/golf2022 Rooftop Cinema Club Holiday Lineup THROUGH DECEMBER 23 | MANCHESTER GRAND HYATT Rooftop Cinema Club is continuing its annual tradition of holiday giving by partnering with Promises2Kids, which serves more than 3,000 foster youth in San Diego. When any guest purchases a ticket to attend a screening during the month of December, they'll have the option to donate $1 to Promises2Kids. One hundred percent of contributed funds will go directly to Promises2Kids and at the conclusion of the month, Rooftop Cinema Club will match the final donation total. Films include holiday classics such as Elf, Home Alone and Home Alone 2, The Grinch, The Polar Express, The Santa Clause, and many more. The 20th Annual Tree Lighting Celebration kicks off the festivities on Friday, December 2, at 6pm. The evening will feature a live performance by Crown City Bombers, holiday entertainers, Santa's arrival, the official lighting of the Christmas Tree, and an incredible light show and magical snowfall. Families will also have an opportunity to take photos with Santa. Winter Wonderlights continues on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-8pm through December 17. On Fridays and Saturdays, guests can also interact with strolling holiday characters, while on Sundays, carolers will serenade shoppers with sounds of the season. On Saturdays and Sundays through December 18, families will have the opportunity to visit with Santa in the Garden Area between Yeti and Allbirds. To round out the season, a Chanukah Celebration takes place on Wednesday, December 21, from 4:30-6pm. Join Chabad at La Costa for the Lighting of the Menorah in the Courtyard between Chico's and White House Black Market.
