Attend benefits Tea3 Foundation Benefit Concert FEBRUARY 11 | PRIVATE RESIDENCE The Tea3 Foundation will host its first signature fundraising event of 2023 by bringing back The Killer Dueling Pianos, based on the overwhelmingly positive response from last year's concert. "The Tea3 Foundation is excited to expand the fundraising commitment made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County for their Community Mentoring Programs for At-Promise Youth," says Sandra den Uijl, Tea3 Foundation president. "Their programs strive to stimulate and prepare the children in our community facing the greatest need to succeed and thrive in their lives." Big Brothers Big Sisters CEO and President Tina Rose says, "Big Brothers Big Sisters is honored to partner with the Tea3 Foundation to amplify the mission to create a brighter future for San Diego youth through empirically proven one-to-one mentoring programs. The benefit concert is themed "Queen of Hearts" to celebrate Valentine's Day. tea3foundation.org Make the Magic FEBRUARY 18 | SEASIDE ROOM AT MARINA VILLAGE Camp Kesem at UC San Diego presents its 18th annual Make the Magic gala. Camp Kesem is a national organization that supports children through and beyond a parent's cancer journey by providing them with a week-long free summer camp, as well as year-round support services with the aim of creating a long-lasting and supportive community. Established in 2004 with the first camp taking place in 2005, UC San Diego's Camp Kesem has grown from hosting just 15 kids its first year to now being one of the largest in the nation. Kids eligible for the camps are between 6 and 18 years old and needn't have any affiliation with the university beyond living in San Diego County. donate.kesem.org/ucsdmtm23 San Diego Animal Hero Awards FEBRUARY 25 | BUILDING 177, LIBERTY STATION FACE Foundation has created an event that is the first of its kind in San Diego: The San Diego Animal Hero Awards. Our community is comprised of extraordinary animals, passionate people, nonprofits, and dedicated businesses who serve and contribute to animal welfare and strengthen our region. This gala will recognize and honor the contributions of animals and their advocates in San Diego. If an animal, individual, or business come to mind, nominate and recognize them for their service.
