SDRVC preserves, protects, and shares the natural and cultural resources of the San Dieguito River Valley through collaborative efforts to acquire lands, complete trails, restore habitats, establish educational programs, create interpretive centers, encourage recreation, and mobilize public support. Funds raised at River Valley Fest will allow the Conservancy to continue its role in making connections within the San Dieguito River Valley and watershed. Chris Tivanian, Kevin Faulconer, and Anna Fernanda Celis Guzman K9 Soiree San Diego Police Foundation's K9 Soirée, themed "Moonlight Masquerade: A Night in Venice," shined a spotlight on SDPF's K9 Crimefighter Campaign, which funds police service dogs for America's Finest K9 Unit. For the past 19 years, every police service dog at the San Diego Police Department has been purchased with funds donated by community members through the San Diego Police Foundation. ese specialized canines safeguard public events, find missing persons, locate evidence, and de-escalate dangerous situations. Special guest was San Diego Police Chief David Nisleit; honorary chairs were Barbie and Dan Spinazzola.
