During the 2023 luncheon and ceremony, five Cool Women will share the spotlight with 35 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts in grades 10-12 who are recognized for their outstanding achievements and potential. This year's celebration will honor: Rashmi Char, Vice President of Engineering, Qualcomm; Liza Crisafi, Chief Investment Officer, San Diego Retirement System (retired); Norma Diaz, Chief Executive Officer, Community Health Group; Kimberley Layton, Vice President of External Affairs, Los Angeles Chargers; and Deanna Mackey, General Manager, KPBS. Attendees will enjoy food and drinks from chefs and restaurants around the county including The Wise Ox, Pure Taco, The Grill at the Lakehouse Hotel and Resort, Burger Bench, San Diego Catering Company, Dulzura Vineyard and Winery, and Valentina Vineyards, among others. Attendees will hear from Habitat's newest homeowners and will fill their homes with good wishes by signing the exposed walls and beams on-site.
