Brought to life by Ernie Hahn, chairman of CaddyHack and founder of Hahn Entertainment, this charity golf tournament is designed to create the ultimate golf experience while simultaneously raising money for the incredible work of Boys to Men Mentoring. Guests will kick up their heels with line dancing and entertainment from The Highwayman Show, a tribute band honoring the greatest icons of country music. Western attire is encouraged. All proceeds benefit United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego County. beachandcountry.org Shelter to Soldier Be the Light Gala AUGUST 18 | L'AUBERGE DEL MAR Shelter to Soldier, a San Diego nonprofit that adopts dogs from local shelters and rescue organizations and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma, will hold its 11th Annual Be the Light Gala. Presented by Subaru of America, the event will raise critical funds to support its programs that serve military, veterans, and homeless dogs in need of a forever home and a life of purpose. Presented by Ranch & Coast Magazine, this all-ages sneak peek opportunity will feature live music by yacht rock tribute act Band Overboard, food and beverages available for purchase, and a few surprises. The $25 ticket price includes entry and two drink vouchers.
