Guests were given the opportunity to participate in a live auction to secure the fifth spot on each of the two teams. Proceeds were quadrupled thanks to matching funds by three entities: the Padres Foundation, Lucky Duck Foundation, and a group of Padres players led by Manny Machado, Joe Musgrove, and Yu Darvish. e Padres Foundation announced a total of $1 million raised for homelessness at the event, with $500,000 raised for Urban Street Angels and Youth Assistance Coalition, and an additional $500,000 commitment to ending homelessness.
