Gin Blossoms Benefit Concert NOVEMBER 15 | BELLY UP TAVERN The acclaimed alternative rock band Gin Blossoms will take the stage for an unforgettable performance featuring the band's classic hits to benefit Adapt Functional Movement Center, a nationally renowned nonprofit integrative recovery center for people living with neurological injuries or diseases. The evening will kick off with laughter as a comedy act warms up the stage prior to the Gin Blossoms. Since 2018, the 6,500-square-foot Adapt Center in Carlsbad has been a beacon of hope for individuals living with paralysis, traumatic brain injuries, and neurodegenerative conditions such as ALS and multiple sclerosis. This year, the black-tie optional event will recognize The Bresnick Family with the Hope Award and Bergelectric Charitable Foundation with the Impact Award for their longstanding contributions to the MS movement and outstanding philanthropy for the National MS Society. St. Germaine Children's Charity is committed to stopping child abuse and improving the lives of abused and neglected children in San Diego County. By awarding grants to organizations that further this mission and by hosting programs throughout the year that educate and raise awareness of child abuse and neglect, St. Germaine Children's Charity helps to build a stronger community. Local programs engage youth to increase their resilience to exploitation and violence, including human trafficking, and support pregnant mothers to ensure they have healthy pregnancies, safe births, and resources in place to ensure their newborns have a healthy start to life. This year, in addition to focusing on the organization's work in San Diego, the event will also highlight women and girls' programs in India.
