So much of this time centers on community and gathering with friends and family, whether at home or at local restaurants. We at Ranch & Coast are especially excited that e Inn at Rancho Santa Fe opens to the public this month after an extensive, yearlong renovation. e hotel's rooms and public spaces have a fresh new look, and an elegant restaurant and bar have debuted. Lilian's, named after the famed architect Lilian J. Rice, and Bing's Bar, an homage to the Hollywood star and crooner Bing Crosby, are ready to welcome hotel guests and locals. Last month, on the Inn's broad lawn, Ranch & Coast was proud to sponsor the Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club's Taste of Rancho Santa Fe, co-chaired by Publisher Bob Stefanko and Jerah Payne of e Heritage Escrow Company with extensive support from Editor-in-Chief Mia Park, Art Director Chloe Pedersen, Graphic Designer Anya Gorban, and dozens of hardworking rotary volunteers. e event had a record-breaking year, with a sold-out crowd of more than 800 attendees and 72 food and beverage partners who gathered to raise money for local charities. We also got a peek at e Inn's new look and a taste of what's to come with Chef Moira Hill at the helm, as Lilian's was among Taste's restaurant partners. We wish the entire team, headed by Managing Director Vikram Sood, and Andy Masi of restaurant partner Clique Hospitality, much success in this new venture. Also on the culinary front, Brandon Hernández reviews the iconic Mister A's, the Banker's Hill landmark which reopened last year after an 11,000-square-foot renovation. New owner Ryan orsen is respectful of the restaurant's deep roots in the community, and Chef Stéphane Voitzwinkler remains in command of the kitchen after an impressive 20 years.
