During the 2024 luncheon and ceremony, five Cool Women will share the spotlight with 50 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts in grades 10-12 who are recognized for their achievements and commitment to leadership. This year's celebration will honor: Suzie Alarcón, co-founder of AUGenomics and Director of the Next Generation Sequencing Core at La Jolla Institute for Immunology; Kim Folsom, founder and CEO of Founders First Capital Partners; Martha Gilmer, CEO of San Diego Symphony Orchestra; Pamela Gray Payton, Vice President, Chief Impact and Partnerships Officer, San Diego Foundation; and Hon. Sherry Thompson-Taylor, San Diego Superior Court judge. Event proceeds will support programs that empower Girl Scouts to develop a strong sense of self, step outside their comfort zones, use their voices, and build resilience.
