Annette Bradbury and Jena Joyce Lisa Bresnahan, Amanda Kalish, Juliana Anthony, and Lesley Kroupa Jacqueline Sheid, MaryAnne Pinter, and Mary Powell-Penrith Colleen Lighter, Sara Hunziker, and Rowena Treitler Meredith Novak, Lizzet Fitz, Sara Carpenter, Andrea Marvin, and Karen Benito Barbara Doren and Sue Kalish Lauren Walsh and Dagmar Smek Jennifer Telitz and Darby Mullany Jullie Bubnack, William Kellogg, and Kathy Lobo Katherine Emmert-Kozo, Erin Preuss, and Jill Peters Las Patronas Beneficiary Luncheon Las Patronas presented eight San Diego nonprofit organizations with checks at its annual Beneficiary Luncheon at e Marine Room. e grants were funded with proceeds from the 77th Annual Jewel Ball, Daisies & Disco, which took place in August 2023. e following major grant beneficiaries each received a check for more than $20,000: Barrio Logan College Institute, Emilio Nares Foundation, Just in Time for Foster Youth, La Jolla Playhouse, Nativity Prep Academy, Rise Up Industries, Serving Seniors, and Urban Corps of San Diego. During the luncheon, Las Patronas also announced that MANA de San Diego and Voices for Children are the recipients of their Legacy Society Grant, which is funded from the investment income of the Las Patronas Endowment Fund. e 78th Annual Jewel Ball, "Meet Me in Marrakesh," will take place on August 3 at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.
