Ford charmed the women in attendance with tips on how to mind one's manners, whether how to fold a napkin or the proper placement of cutlery and wine glasses. Maria Delgado and Maria Assaraf co-chaired the event; WOW's founder is Lola Green. PHOTOGRAPHY BY JENNIFER NELSON Agency Funding Reception e Country Friends has selected 39 San Diego County-based charities for more than $258,000 in grants in 2024. During a reception at the TCF Consignment Shop on El Tordo in Rancho Santa Fe, attended by charity representatives, TCF's board of directors, supporters, and guests, TCF President Janean Stripe noted that the total includes more than $7,000 in flood relief funds to the San Diego Rescue Mission. Since its founding 70 years ago, e Country Friends has raised $15 million to support human care agencies, with special emphasis on services to women, children, the elderly, families, and people with disabilities.
