Rowhouse Book Tour & VIP Cocktail Party e Rancho Santa Fe Historical Society celebrated the release of Enduring Elegance, a new coffee table book by author Diane Welch highlighting the architectural legacy of Lilian Rice. e festivities included a VIP cocktail reception inside a historic Lilian Rice estate, where guests enjoyed cocktails, appetizers, music, and the opportunity to meet the author. e next day, a guided walking tour showcased four of Rice's iconic Rancho Santa Fe rowhomes. Proceeds supported the Historical Society's mission to preserve and celebrate Rancho Santa Fe's rich architectural and cultural heritage. More than 100 guests enjoyed a Wizard of Oz-inspired evening featuring themed entertainment, dining, auctions, and fundraising opportunities. e event also honored LGBTQ+ community leader Susan Jester with the organization's Kindness in Action Award, recognizing her decades of service and advocacy throughout San Diego.
