This past October, they celebrated the grand opening of their second location in Pacific Beach (1362 Garnet Avenue), honoring a veterinary legacy dating back to 1946. The expansion builds on the success of their Linda Vista flagship, which has been serving San Diego families for eight years. "We're not just opening another hospital — we're continuing the story of one of Pacific Beach's most treasured veterinary institutions," says Dr. Megan Gibbings. As Pacific Beach's oldest veterinary hospital, the practice now enters a new era under Medical Director Dr. Stefanie Young, who brings more than 15 years of experience caring for local pets. The Gibbings emphasize community connection, planning partnerships with neighborhood schools and events, along with a charitable program to help pet owners in need access lifesaving care. Rooted in San Diego for generations, the Gibbingses remain committed to preserving compassionate, community-focused veterinary care. westcoast.vet Tom Gibbings, Jr. and Dr. Megan Gibbings ranchandcoast.com 40 JANUARY 2026 RANCH & COAST MAGAZINE
