Lucky Duck Foundation Showcase Soirée e Lucky Duck Foundation celebrated its 21st anniversary and a milestone of more than $50 million raised to aid those in need throughout San Diego County at its annual Showcase Soirée at Estancia La Jolla. e evening highlighted the foundation's increased focus on youth and seniors, with young speakers sharing their experiences with employment programs and transitional housing initiatives supported by the organization. Monarch School received $250,000 as the foundation's "Father Joe Hustler of the Year," recognizing its work on behalf of people experiencing homelessness. Emceed by sportscaster Neil Everett and professional golfer and broadcast analyst Peter Jacobsen, the Olympics-themed celebration also featured live music, an auction, awards, dinner, casino games, and heartfelt stories of impact. Royce Williams, USN (Ret.), Medal of Honor recipient and Eagle Scout. Community leaders, veterans, active-duty service members, and supporters gathered to celebrate his extraordinary legacy of courage and service. e Military Honor Table program provided complimentary attendance for military families and veterans. Proceeds supported expanded access to Scouting programs for military families and underserved youth throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties.
