Attend benefits Bro-Am Benefit Party JUNE 15 | PRIVATE NORTH COUNTY VENUE The 19th annual Bro-Am Benefit Party is back with an outdoor concert featuring Grammy Award-winning rock act Switchfoot. At the festive fundraiser, guests will enjoy silent and live auctions, and sample signature dishes and sips from a stellar lineup of culinary partners including Beeside Balcony, Casa de Bandini, Ranch 45, Buona Forchetta, and many more. VIP ticket opportunities also include a meet and greet with Switchfoot. The Switchfoot Bro-Am Foundation is dedicated to giving back to the San Diego community by building awareness and providing grants to local nonprofit organizations that provide services to at-risk and disadvantaged youth, with a special focus on programs related to music, art, and surfing. The members of Switchfoot dreamed up the event in 2005 as a way to make a difference by merging their passions — music, surfing, and giving back. Proceeds from this year's Bro-Am will support local youth initiatives of the foundation's selected beneficiaries: A Step Beyond, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Feeding San Diego, Monarch School, and Save The Music Foundation. Event sponsors include Viasat, BMW of Carlsbad, Ting Internet, Kaiser Permanente, and Splat. broam.org Baja Bash JUNE 17 | PRIVATE SOLANA BEACH ESTATE International conservation group Wildcoast will host the Baja Bash to raise awareness and funds for its ocean conservation and climate action programs. The event also supports Wildcoast's programs to preserve wild coastlines and wildlife in Baja. At a private estate overlooking the lagoon and coast, guests will celebrate Wildcoast's high impact conservation work in Mexico and California. The event will feature gourmet food stations with San Diego's top sustainable chefs: JoJo Ruiz (Lionfish, Serea, Temaki), Brad Wise (Rare Society), Kelli Crosson (The Lodge at Torrey Pines), Marissa Williams and Carlo Guardado (Herb & Sea), Greg Frey Jr. (Golden Door and Golden Door Country Store), and Aly Lang (George's at the Cove). The highly curated epicurean affair will also feature fresh Baja oysters, seafood from Pure Fish, Solento Tequila, Local Roots Kombucha, live music, and more. wildcoast.org Del Mar Summer Solstice JUNE 22 | POWERHOUSE PARK Celebrate the beginning of summer as only Del Mar knows how.
