Doggie Street Festival San Diego JANUARY 20 | NTC PARK AT LIBERTY STATION The 14th Annual Doggie Street Festival San Diego, taking place from 9am-3pm, is a not-to-be missed companion animal adopt- a-thon and celebration of our furry best friends. The festival will feature fantastic pet products and services, yummy eats, vet tips, music, auction prizes, and much more. Nearly 20 cat and dog adoption and rescue organizations will be in attendance, including Friends of Cats, Frosted Faces Foundation, Labrador and Friends Dog Rescue, Rescue Fenix, and San Diego Humane Society. Friendly dogs are welcome. Sponsorships and auction items are still being accepted. doggiestreetfestival.org MEOW Phyllis is a 2-year-old Domestic Short Hair who was brought to the shelter with her four kittens. While her babies have been adopted, this sweet mama hasn't found a new family of her own yet. Phyllis enjoys playing with toys, especially fluffy balls. Meet Phyllis at SDHS' Oceanside Campus. Adoption fee: $75 MEOW Halsey is a 2½-year-old Domestic Short Hair cat with a Brown Tabby coat who values her independence. But this sweet feline will also purr like a motor while receiving pets and loves curling up next to her people. Adoption fee: $78 MEOWMack is a 7-year-old, 10-pound, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Grey and White Tabby coat. He lived in a home with several other cats. When his owner was no longer able to care for him, he was surrendered. Mack is the perfect low-key cuddle buddy. Adoption fee: $100 WOOF Juniper is a 6-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Terrier blend who loves being outside with his humans, especially if he can bring his favorite toy with him. This sweet boy has lots of joyful energy and would be happy as a clam playing fetch all day. Adoption fee: $421 WOOF Bruno is a 2-year-old, 58-pound, Bassett Hound mix who was at a rescue partner in the Imperial Valley before being transferred to RCHS through Friends of County Animal Shelters. Bruno needs an active home and can easily walk three miles every day. She's still working on her training, and with some help from her new family, she's sure to become the perfect pooch. She will likely do best as the only dog at home.
