in excellence 2 0 2 4 La Costa Glen residents Richard and Gail Seibert have been married for 14 years and have known each other since high school. is is the second marriage for both. After losing their spouses, they leaned on each other for support and companionship. ey admit they're lucky to be shot by Cupid's arrow not once, but twice. Following their wedding, they began to plan their lives together and decided after just one tour to move into La Costa Glen, a Life Plan community in Carlsbad. ey liked the location and proximity to shopping, dining, and their children. e Sieberts say they have peace of mind knowing they have priority access to care, if ever needed, at the adjacent health care center. "Being a retired pharmacist, I value the importance of having healthcare nearby," says Richard. In their spare time, the couple enjoys on-site activities, including pickleball, clubs, and volunteer work. eir only wish is that they would have made the move sooner.
