Monica Ulibarri, Sophie Schulte, Chloe Parker, Juliet Schneider, and Michelle Mullen Jennica Ho, Briana Duke, Maile Ronchetto, and Devon Wulf Linda Katz, Isabella Astiazaran, Stella Jimenez, and Linda Sierra Jeanette Nichols, Valerie Attisha, Caroline Wohl, and Debbie Rider Lisa McGuire and Melissa Catanzaro Adrienne Swiss, Amalie Kempiak, Rachel Cano, and Sherry Thompson-Taylor Kelly Cannan and Danitza Villanueva Rodger Dougherty, Katherine Bennett, Maggie Watkins, Alexandra Mac Freier, and Emily Rex Cool Women Celebration Girl Scouts San Diego welcomed more than 500 guests to its 25th Annual Cool Women Celebration, recognizing five remarkable women whose leadership, innovation, and community impact continue to inspire the next generation. Event chair Patti Roscoe hosted the luncheon and awards ceremony, where honorees Valerie Attisha of PNC Bank, Sarah Boyce of Avidity Biosciences, Selena Ellis-Vizcarra of Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation, Maya Madsen of Maya's Cookies, and Danitza Villanueva of DAESVI Publishing were celebrated alongside a class of 60 Emerging Leader Girl Scouts in grades 10 through 12. Proceeds from the event support Girl Scouts San Diego programs that empower girls to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and use their voices to make a positive difference in their communities.
