This year, the event will bring guests back to the golden age of pop, and the original intention of the Patron Party — celebrating the JCC's incredible community of philanthropists. There will be live entertainment by The Boy Band Project, transporting guests to a time when the boy band phenomenon dominated pop culture. Brown is a graduate of La Jolla High School and began playing the banjo as a teenager on the Southern California bluegrass scene. She is the recipient of the USA Artists Fellowship in Music and the Distinguished Achievement Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association. She is a frequent collaborator with actor/comedian/banjoist Steve Martin, with whom she recently won an Emmy for Best Musical Composition for their collaboration "Foggy Morning Breaking" from Brown's 2023 release On Banjo.
