Peacemaker Awards MAY 2 | HILTON SAN DIEGO BAYFRONT The National Conflict Resolution Center presents its 38th Annual Peacemaker Awards, an inspiring evening honoring individuals and organizations advancing peace and social change. Beginning at 5pm, the gala features a cocktail reception followed by dinner and program, celebrating this year's theme, "Meeting the Moment." Honorees include Dr. Bernice A. King, Jorge Francisco Castillo, and Jack McGrory, recognized for their leadership in nonviolence, cultural unity, and philanthropy. Emmy Award-winning journalist Lee Ann Kim will emcee the evening. Guests will enjoy live big band and jazz performances, dancing, signature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a buffet dinner while exploring the Athenaeum's historic spaces and distinguished art collection. The night will also feature a silent auction with a curated selection of unique experiences and items. A VIP Hour will kick off the festivities with red carpet arrivals, champagne and caviar, exclusive cocktails, live music by Ashley Anne and the Carnations, valet parking, and early access to the silent auction. 1950s cocktail attire is suggested.
